Trois frères qui se méfient l'un de l'autre vivent aux aguets dans une maison abandonnée. Ils enferment un vieux peintre et tentent par tous les moyens de l'obliger à se remettre au travail. Rien n'y fait. La situation est de plus en plus critique. Il n'y a bientôt plus du tout d'argent. Une jeune femme arrive et désire parler au peintre. Les frères refusent. Ils sont contraints de l'enfermer à son tour. Elle réussira à s'enfuir avec le peintre. Mais pour aller où?

POISONS

Three brothers, who spy on and mistrust each other, live together in a large neglected house. They are holding an elderly painter prisoner, trying by all means to make him paint again. Nothing doing. The situation becomes more strained, money is running short. One evening, a young lady appears who wishes to talk to the painter. The brothers ignore the request and also take her prisoner. She and the painter manage to escape. But where to?
